Like many others, one of my fave things to help me unwind at the end of the day is heading over to Pinterest. For those not in-the-know, think of Pinterest as a bulletin board of cool pics that have LINKS to follow to other web pages. For example – pics of a tasty dinner, where you can click through the link to find the recipe. Or a pic of a pretty dress, where you can then click the link and find out where you can buy it. That kind of thing.
It’s also an endless source of memes and quote pics.
Call me cheesy, but I love a good quote. My mind likes to see things from other perspectives. To maybe think on something in a new or unique way that I didn’t think of before. Perhaps someone said something so succinctly that it hits a chord with me.
Whatever the reason, I often look on the “Quotes” category page of Pinterest. Or type my own quote topics in and see what the results are that pop up. Like anything online, some are great, some are crap. And I have a HUGE problem with memes or the like having spelling or grammatical errors. (Even if it’s a really cool message, I just can’t repin it with a spelling error!)
But as time goes by, I find some really good ones, and I thought I’d share them with you, in my quest of living the best life possible….

First – gratitude quotes! Being truly thankful for the blessings in life. I think we all need to be reminded of this little message once in awhile. Sometimes we think so much about the things we WANT, that we forget to acknowledge the things we HAVE. I am thankful for so many things, despite the challenges life throws before me. I have true love, I have good friends, I have family that cares about me, I have music, I have the achievements I’ve made so far in life, I have sunshine and fresh air. Why dwell on the negatives?

As to one of those things I mentioned above that I’m grateful for – true love. Finding the real deal can be rare in this world – so I am grateful for it every single day and will never take it for granted. Let’s enjoy some good love quotes, shall we?…

How about dealing with all those judge-y people out there? I know I’ve been hurt by these kinds of people before, but I’m working on rising above their pettiness. They’re the ones with the problem. Here’s some good quotes for that….
