I know that people out there are trying to get more information about Croatia, so I thought I’d put together a post with links to ALL my blog entries about this beautiful country. All in one handy-dandy location! These are posts from the past several years – from my many travels in Croatia – doing touristy things AND also just every day stuff that Miloš and I do in the off-season while living a normal every-day life.
So whether you’re planning a day trip to Saharun Beach, or you just want to read about what kind of food you can get in Makarska, this is your one-stop-shop! (Just click on the topic below, and the link will take you where you want to go!)
There are more random blog entries that I’ve posted from my copious amounts of time in Croatia, but most are just our daily routine stuff while we’re there – not as much info for vacation planning. But if you DO want more info, just ask and I’m happy to share any info I can to help you have a great trip to Croatia!
(And if any of the links aren’t working or are directed incorrectly, just let me know! I’ll fix ’em right up!

Jennifer was initially drawn to Europe for two reasons: music and love. She lived in Vienna for four years, and now calls Croatia home for much of each year, as she married a native Croatian. Since 2015, Jennifer has worked as a tour director and cruise director on European river cruises for a major American travel company, and has become an expert in all of the cities along her routes on the Danube, Rhine, and Main Rivers. She also has traveled to Disney World almost every year since 1985, and knows Disney World inside and out. As a travel agent, Disney World is her primary specialty, and she has helped many Disney newbies and veterans have amazing trips with her insider information.

So happy I found this, thank you! Need to look into all the posts, but this is great. I will be visiting Croatia next week, I can’t wait to get to know this beautiful country.
I think it would be too hard for me to pick a favorite at this point – having spent so much time in Croatia. Milos and I really liked Makarska – enough that we’re returning there for a week this summer. We also REALLY want to get back to Plitvice to see more of it – it’s truly amazing. I’d say each place has it’s special aspects – we loved eating in Zadar, the beaches in Brela, the sheer amazing beauty of Plitvice, the ancient-ness of Diocletian’s Palace in Split, and of course, I have a fondness for Milos’ hometown of Crikvenica, simply because it’s part of him. 🙂
