All kinds of changes with Fastpass in Disney World!

Updated On:

So I thought I’d write a quick update on the progress of the Magic Band / Fastpass+  situation down in Disney World.

You can read about my experiences back in September here.

But things are changing all the time.  Constantly.  The newest update posted on the disboards is that for certain dates in Epcot, you can only choose ONE headliner FP+ and 2 second-tier rides, instead of any three of your choice.  Of course, the old style Fastpasses are still available on site.  (For now.  Rumor is they will also eventually go the way of the dinosaur.)

There are also lots of people reporting that they are having their current FP+ selections either deleted or changed on them.  (I’ve already taken photos of our confirmation screens with times for our trip later this month.)

Since Disney is still in the “testing phase,” we won’t really know what the final system will  ultimately be.  I’ll report back later on, after my next trip!
