Auditions for Olde Towne Carolers!

For the first time ever, we will be having auditions to add more singers to our roster.  The client demand was so great last year, that I didn’t have enough singers to handle all the potential work.  Time to expand!

Olde Towne Carolers – 2012 Auditions

Olde Towne Carolers, the region’s foremost caroling company, continues to grow, and is seeking talented singers to expand our roster in order to keep up with increased client demand.  The caroling season runs from mid-November until the end of December.   Gigs are mostly in eastern PA, but also NJ and surrounding states.

Seeking all voice parts for standard caroling gigs. (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass)

Candidate Requirements:
*MUST read music
*Either a college degree in music, or previous professional singing experience
*Reliability
*Excellent musicianship
*Good performance skills and stage presence
*Ability to sing in English, German, Latin (and some French)
*Ability to be flexible and think on your feet – our gigs and venues are extremely varied
*MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!!!!

Audition dates and times:
Wed. May 16, 2012.  6:00 – 10:00pm
Sat. May 19, 2012.  3:00 – 7:00pm

Singers will be assigned a ten minute audition time slot.

Audition Location:
St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church
203 North Valley Forge Road, Devon, PA 19333

Audition requirements:
Singers will be asked to prepare three pieces from our repertoire.  PDF’s of songs will be emailed to each singer when assigned an audition time.  Our gigs are performed a cappella, so auditions will be unaccompanied.
