So here we are – caroling season is in full gear. We had a few November gigs, but it’s always the first weekend of December that really kicks it off – it’s always our busiest weekend. Many companies have their holiday parties and quite a number of towns do their official tree lightings during this particular weekend.
This year, the first weekend was busier than ever. I guess I can’t be surprised over the business’s increased success this season – I really think all of our TV and radio appearances really helped last year. This season has the most bookings ever. Eight of us traveled up to Niagara Falls, Canada for the weekend for a big event at a casino there, while in the meantime, we had many groups performing here back at home.
I’m feeling that old familiar stress that hits me every year at this time. But my goal is to work through the stress better – to rise above it…. I’ll let ya know how that goes…. haha!
We have gigs almost every day this month, and many days have multiple gigs. I know this month will fly by!
And there are some awesome new ideas shaping up for next season – I’ll update you all on that later – but I’m really excited to see how these new ideas come to fruition! (Insert excited face here!)
So that’s an update for now. Another special shout out to my mom, Lynn Graf, for helping to sew all the new costumes that we needed this year!
