Ever expanding into the realm of social networking….

It’s no question that I’m pretty comfortable with Facebook. Let’s be honest – I’m on there a LOT. But when you do so much of your work on your own home computer, it’s easy to just keep a tab open with Facebook to provide the occasional distraction.

But Facebook has been an excellent source of not just social networking, but Business networking too. As you know, I visit Disney World regularly. I post about Disney World. I put up pictures of Disney World. But that’s how all my Facebook friends know that I KNOW Disney World. So when they want to go, they get in touch with me. When their friends want to go, they will recommend me.

It works similarly with singing. When I have a show, I post about it. Recital? Post about it! New CD? Post about it! It brings people to my performances and I sell CD’s that way too! It’s great!

So I’ve decided to expand even more into the world of social networking.

Not too long ago, I joined Google +. You know, I’m not even really sure what it is, but I’m putting myself out there with it and seeing what happens. And FINALLY I joined Twitter. Not sure why I was holding out so long with that one, but I figure it can’t hurt!

So if you want to find me in these new ways, I welcome you to follow me, or join my circles, or whatever else might be the new catch phrase for connecting with people!
