I now have a YouTube Channel!

We finally ordered our new video recorder about 3 weeks ago. Decided to go with the ZoomQ3HD because it is specifically made for musicians. We had $100 worth of Amazon gift cards, so we ordered from Amazon. Unfortunately, the distributor made an error and long story short, we didn’t get the recorder until the day before my recital last week. But we still got it to work and I was able to tape the entire program. (Thanks to the wife of the tenor who was also singing – she did a great job of taping us!)

I played around in iMovie quite a bit and figured out how to get the clips onto YouTube, and even made a photo slideshow to go along with one of the tracks from my Christmas album! Then yesterday, I had my mom record some of HMS Pinafore. Seems that she zoomed in a little too much in some of the shots, so that the picture quality isn’t the greatest, but I was able to get one aria up from yesterday on the YouTube channel.

Now that I’m getting more knowledgeable about all of this video stuff, it’s making me excited for the videos we’ll be taking in Disney – which is just around the corner! I have to get my final organizational stuff together so we know exactly which segments to tape in which parks. I foresee the editing process to be a long one, as I’ll have TONS of stuff to splice together. But I’m excited for a new challenge and can’t wait to get Destination Mouse online and out there for all to see!

Back to the singing – if you want to visit my YouTube channel, my YouTube name is JenniferGrafSoprano. (Not sure how to link it. Here’s a try, but it’s from the user end of my page):
