Pennsylvania’s premier Christmas caroling company, Olde Towne Carolers, is expanding to the Boston area for the 2014 season! The holiday entertainment company is entering its tenth season performing around the Philadelphia region and surrounding areas, and has seen continuing success every year. The group has been featured twice on national television via the Rachael Ray Show, performs annually on WFMZ Channel 69, and has had featured spots on Philly’s CW-57 news, WOGL 98.1 radio, and even Disney’s Christmas Carol Train Tour. The group performs every year at prestigious venues such as Longwood Gardens, Macy’s, and Christkindlmarkt.
Founder Jennifer Graf earned her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the New England Conservatory in Boston. When thinking about expanding Olde Towne Carolers into new areas, Boston was the best option. The city is known for its love of music, and offers its residents a plethora of holiday events in and around the city. Ms. Graf’s personal singer network includes many talented former classmates that currently grace the stages of the city’s best opera houses, theatres, and choral groups. This network also allows Olde Towne Carolers to continue its excellent reputation of providing the absolute best talent possible for any kind of holiday celebration as it expands into this new region.
Olde Towne Carolers will currently offer traditional a cappella Victorian-costumed Christmas Carolers to the entire Boston metro area. (With possible plans to expand the group’s other acts to Boston in the future as well. Currently the company offers carolers, brass players, Santa, a voice/piano duo, and a jazz trio to the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley regions.) The Christmas carolers perform at various functions such as corporate events, private parties, shopping centers, retirement homes, restaurant events, tree lightings, winter weddings, and special concerts.
