Things I want to eat when I’m back in the USA….

This post is simple.

There are things I want to eat back home in the States that I’ve been missing while being abroad all year.  You really can’t get them here.  I talked a little bit about this subject earlier in the year, but now it’s a little different.  (For example, I can get Starbucks here in Vienna, so I’m not missing it like I was all winter in Croatia.  Although I’m missing the cheaper U.S. pricing… yeah, you think it’s expensive in America – ha!)

But I’ll be home in the USA for two months from mid-November to mid-January, and my tastebuds are ready for some nostalgia.

Okay, here goes….

***Bisquick pancakes with Aunt Jemima syrup***

Yeah, that’s the stuff… (but I hate butter on pancakes, get that stuff off!)

Jennifer was initially drawn to Europe for two reasons: music and love.  She lived in Vienna for four years, and now calls Croatia home for much of each year, as she married a native Croatian. Since 2015, Jennifer has worked as a tour director and cruise director on European river cruises for a major American travel company, and has become an expert in all of the cities along her routes on the Danube, Rhine, and Main Rivers. She also has traveled to Disney World almost every year since 1985, and knows Disney World inside and out. As a travel agent, Disney World is her primary specialty, and she has helped many Disney newbies and veterans have amazing trips with her insider information.

  1. Kill two birds with one stone…go to a restaurant in the South (if y’all make it to Mississippi, I’ll buy) and order chicken and waffles. You’ll get your fried chicken to satisfy your Hungry Man craving and also get waffles where you can ask for Aunt Jemima’s syrup! 😉
