This post is simple.
There are things I want to eat back home in the States that I’ve been missing while being abroad all year. You really can’t get them here. I talked a little bit about this subject earlier in the year, but now it’s a little different. (For example, I can get Starbucks here in Vienna, so I’m not missing it like I was all winter in Croatia. Although I’m missing the cheaper U.S. pricing… yeah, you think it’s expensive in America – ha!)

But I’ll be home in the USA for two months from mid-November to mid-January, and my tastebuds are ready for some nostalgia.
Okay, here goes….
***Bisquick pancakes with Aunt Jemima syrup***
***Philly soft pretzels***
***Real nachos***
***REAL strawberry ice cream*** (it’s supposed to be the lightest pink color with big chunks of strawberries in it)
***Hungry Man Fried Chicken TV dinner*** (don’t judge…)
***Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookies*** (YES – the refrigerated pre-made dough that you scoop off onto the baking tray!)
***Kraft Mac n Cheese***
***Pumpkin Pie***
Do you have a fave food that you miss when you’re away? Do you think I missed anything that you’d like to add? Let me know!
Kill two birds with one stone…go to a restaurant in the South (if y’all make it to Mississippi, I’ll buy) and order chicken and waffles. You’ll get your fried chicken to satisfy your Hungry Man craving and also get waffles where you can ask for Aunt Jemima’s syrup! 😉
